By the time I finish the south section the north has respawned so it's very easy to run back and forth farming with no interruptions other than running across the area with the elite dragons.

As a holy pally it takes me about 10 minutes to clear both the north and the south groups. The group to the north has 18 and the group to the south has 14.

These guys are in two easy to farm groups separated by a big open area full of elite dragons (in the badlands). I've got the Emerald and Crimson whelps, Crimson is a huge 'circuit' with several which don't even drop the pet, and the Emeralds you have to farm the few there are (half of which don't drop it), log to another toon for 10-15 minutes then come back and try again.
